The default lab boundary#
The included exercises use synthetic messages, sanitised saved material, calculations, tabletop scenarios or explicitly local simulations. They do not require discovery scans, operational devices, real credentials or physical actuation.
Live work needs a separate process#
Any permitted live work needs the system owner's scope, the applicable product procedure and the right people. Work affecting doors, gates, lifts, alarms, fire interfaces, relays or emergency communication also needs the relevant engineering and safety authority.
Do not infer that written network access permission authorises every physical action exposed by that network. Keep observation, administration and control as distinct permissions.
Public evidence#
Remove secrets, identifying customer data and sensitive topology details before sharing a record. Prefer a synthetic fixture when the real material is not necessary to explain the result.
